Committee DescriptionEvery year the YMCA Model United Nations Program distributes a paper describing the events of the conference and produces a conference PowerPoint slide show based upon digital pictures taken during the conference. The paper is distributed at the conclusion of the conference and reports on the different topics of debate that occurred in the various committees as well as social events. Several dedicated students, whose role is to ensure the production of the paper and slideshow, staff the Press Corps. Several delegation advisors are assigned to manage the Press Corps and assist in the development and distribution of the paper. At least one student from the Press Corp will be selected to attend National Affairs as a press delegate. Students wishing to participate in the YMCA MUN Press Corps should demonstrate a degree of proficiency in writing, editing, and familiarity with digital photography and/or powerpoint. Delegations are encouraged to bring at least 1 Written and Video Press Delegate.
