COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

Delegate assignments are done by committees first, then countries. This allows students to be assigned to a position based on their topic interest over a preferred country. In other words, a student will be assigned to the Legal committee because of their interest in that topic over their desire to represent a specific country.
Please use “Delegation Enrollment Form” to individually your delegates and the committees they would like to be assigned. As you complete the form, make sure your delegates are disbursed proportionately across the various committees. Once we receive the “Delegation Enrollment Form” along with the appropriate amount of ‘Credentials” and deposits ($100 per participant), the program staff will send your assigned committees & countries for each student. ENVOYS

“Envoys” are a special committee designed just for 7th & 8th grade students that will introduce them to the various elements of the program. These students will represent countries through a modified committee structure that emulates the debate & problem solving of the high school student’s experience. Through working with our alumni staff and select advisors, the envoys will be well prepared to become successful delegates when they return in 9th grade. Therefore, we strongly encourage high school delegations to bring students from their middle schools to participate in this new aspect of the program.
